“The Runaway Wife: A laugh out loud feel good novel about second chances” by Dee MacDonald

After reading a few books with heavier topics, I was in the mood for a feel-good, easy read story guaranteed to make me smile, and this innocuous but delightful rollick fit the bill, especially since it involves a 66 year-old-lady who desperately needs a change, and heads off on an adventure to rediscover herself. When Connie heads out in her ramshackle car she has no idea all the madcap adventures she will have, the wonderful people she will meet, and the surprising revelations in store as she re-examines her drab life, and makes decisions about how she will live in the future. 4 stars ( not great literature but a fun read)
